General Anesthesia
For many surgical procedures your pet requires general anesthesia so that they become unconscious and do not experience pain. To further reduce any risk we perform pre anesthetic examination and a screening blood work to identify any underlying issues that can impact the decision about the use of anesthesia drugs. Anesthesia drugs are selected according to the need of an individual animal and during anesthesia animals are monitored continuously for their vital signs, blood pressure and other parameters to make sure that anesthesia is safe. Local Anesthesia
Some procedures do not require general anesthesia and can be performed under local anesthesia. Normally the procedures requiring local anesthesia are of short duration. These procedures include biopsy of a skin mass and small skin mass removals. Some animals getting local anesthesia may require prior sedation with injectable drugs.
